At BB Visual Ltd, we believe that exceptional workshop design can be a catalyst for fundamental organisational change. Our collaboration with the English Institute of Sport exemplifies our commitment to creating transformative learning experiences that break down barriers and inspire innovative thinking.

Project Brief

Duration:

7

Weeks

The project emerged from a critical need to address siloed working practices within the organisation. Our challenge was to support a Learning Consultant in developing a workshop that would not just teach new skills, but fundamentally shift how teams communicate, share knowledge, and approach problem-solving.

Our approach was holistic and multifaceted. We recognised that effective learning requires diverse content modalities that engage different learning styles and reinforce key concepts. This understanding drove our creative process, resulting in a comprehensive suite of workshop assets that went far beyond traditional training materials.

Skills:

  • Instructional Design

  • Consultancy

  • Digital Design

  • Graphic Design

Video content added another layer of engagement. Our team used Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects to produce dynamic video assets that illustrate complex ideas, provide contextual examples, and create emotional connection with the learning content. These videos became crucial in breaking down barriers and demonstrating practical applications of the workshop's core concepts.

We developed a comprehensive range of assets, including:

  • Detailed workbooks

  • Interactive worksheets

  • Engaging visual posters

  • Instructional handouts

  • Multimedia video content

  • Activity-based learning resources

Animation played a critical role in making abstract concepts tangible. We used motion graphics to explain complex processes, visualise data, and create memorable learning experiences that extend beyond traditional workshop delivery.

Below is an example of one of the videos from an activity called 'The Heist'. It was created in After Effects and featured a professional voice actor.

The image shows two documents side by side: 1. Left side: A blue building floor plan showing ground floor and first floor layouts with rooms labeled (security office, toilets, lifts, janitor, entrance/ticket office on ground floor; Amsterdam, Anchiano, Paris, toilets, and galleried landing on first floor). The design is in a blueprint style with white lines on blue background. 2. Right side: A SMART goals infographic from the English Institute of Sport: - S: Specific - Make your goals specific and narrow for more effective planning - M: Measurable - Define what evidence will prove you're making progress and re-evaluate when necessary - A: Attainable - Make sure you can reasonably accomplish your goal within a certain time frame - R: Relevant - Your goals should align with your values and long-term objectives - T: Time-based - Set a realistic ambitious end-date for task prioritization and motivation Each section has a small icon illustrating the concept. The English Institute of Sport logo appears at the bottom. I'll create a short alt text for this image that captures the essential elements. ::: "English Institute of Sport materials: building floor plan blueprint showing ground and first floor layouts alongside SMART goals framework infographic detailing Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-based principles with explanatory text and icons for each element."

The result was a transformative learning experience that does more than simply transfer information. Our workshop assets created a platform for cultural change, encouraging teams to think differently, communicate more effectively, and break down traditional organisational silos.

At BB Visual Ltd, we don't just design workshop assets, we create opportunities for organisational transformation. Our work with the English Institute of Sport demonstrates our ability to turn learning objectives into powerful, engaging experiences that drive real change.
