Most of Eastfield Glamping Farm's bookings came through third-party sites like Booking.com and Airbnb.


Their website existed, but it wasn't working for them. We changed that.


The Problem:


Eastfield needed a website that could compete with booking platforms - not for traffic, but for value. They wanted to attract direct bookings from higher-value customers who appreciate their unique offering.


The existing site didn't showcase the farm's charm or justify premium pricing. It needed better appearance, performance, and SEO.


Our Approach:


We'd already created their brand identity in 2023, so we were uniquely positioned to evolve their digital presence while maintaining consistency.


Workshop & Planning:
Started with Miro workshop sessions to plan the brand refresh and visual overhaul.


Design & Development:
Built the site in Framer - our go-to platform for creating responsive, visually striking websites without compromising performance.


Visual Content:
Photography and visual content became the cornerstone. We captured:

  • Professional drone footage (DJI Air 2s)

  • Immersive 360-degree virtual tours

  • High-quality photography throughout the property

All content was processed in Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro, then integrated seamlessly into the design.


Technical Implementation:


The 360 virtual tours required careful hosting to ensure 99% uptime, performance, and accessibility. We selected platforms that could handle immersive content without slowing the site down.


Framer allowed us to create a responsive, modern platform with seamless compatibility across all devices. The design focused on intuitive UI that tells Eastfield's story through visual narratives.


Why Visual Storytelling Mattered:


Potential guests make decisions based on visual impressions. Our multi-faceted media strategy included:

  • Aerial photography showcasing the farm's picturesque setting

  • 360-degree videos allowing virtual tours of accommodations

  • High-quality photos that capture the experience


These immersive elements let visitors envision their stay before booking - crucial for converting browsers into bookers.


The Results:


Immediate improvements across the board:

  • Increased traffic

  • Higher domain authority

  • More clicks from Google

  • Blog content driving ongoing SEO value


Most importantly: significant booking increases during typically quiet periods, and completely booked during busy seasons.

Sometimes the goal isn't maximum traffic - it's the right traffic. By focusing on visual storytelling and user experience, we helped Eastfield attract guests who appreciate what makes them special.
