Multiple stakeholders. Diverse needs. One website that needs to serve them all.
TBAC, an alternative educational provision for SEND students, needed a digital platform that worked for everyone. We built it.
The Problem:
TBAC provides specialised educational services for students who require education outside traditional environments, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Their challenge: create a website that simultaneously serves:
Students needing easy access to resources and timetables
Parents wanting clear information about curriculum and support
Prospective families seeking reassurance about quality
Staff requiring secure access to teaching materials
Regulatory bodies needing evidence of compliance
Each stakeholder group had different requirements and technical abilities. The website needed to work for all of them.
Our Approach:
Before designing anything, we conducted extensive research to understand each stakeholder group's specific needs. This wasn't about creating a generic educational website - it was about building an accessible, intuitive digital hub that serves as both an informational resource and a functional tool.
Building the Solution:
Framer Development:
We used Framer to create a responsive, dynamic website with smooth interactions and animations that enhance engagement without compromising accessibility. The platform allowed us to build something visually engaging while maintaining usability for all users.
360-Degree Virtual Tours:
Using our 360-degree camera equipment, we created immersive virtual tours of TBAC's facilities. Prospective students and families could explore the environment remotely - crucial for families making educational decisions.
Custom Photography:
We captured TBAC's unique atmosphere using our Panasonic S5 IIX, producing authentic imagery that showcases real student and staff experiences. No stock photos - genuine representation of what TBAC offers.
Bespoke Graphics:
We designed custom illustrations and infographics using Adobe Illustrator to explain complex educational concepts in accessible, visual formats. Making information digestible for all users was essential.

Why This Worked:
We didn't just build a pretty website. We created a digital platform that genuinely serves TBAC's diverse community:
Students find resources easily
Parents get clear, reassuring information
Staff access secure materials efficiently
Regulatory bodies see compliance evidence
Prospective families can virtually explore facilities
Here's an example of the virtual tours we used in the website.
The Results:
The website became more than a digital brochure - it's a functional hub that serves the entire TBAC community. By understanding each stakeholder's needs before designing, we created something that works for everyone without compromising accessibility or usability.
What We Learned:
Great web design isn't about aesthetics alone - it's about creating meaningful digital experiences that serve real needs. When your audience includes diverse stakeholders with varying technical abilities, research and accessibility must drive every design decision.
For educational organisations serving SEND students, digital accessibility isn't optional - it's fundamental.
The Bottom Line:
At BB Visual Ltd, we believe in creating digital experiences that are simple, clear, and effective. Our work with TBAC demonstrates our multidisciplinary approach: combining research, accessible design, immersive technology, and custom content to build websites that genuinely serve their communities.
